Road description from Calais
(distance Calais – Château du Bois Noir is approx 800 km):

1. Take Motorway A26 and A1 to Paris.
2. At Paris take the A3 – A86 and A10 in the direction of Bordeaux.
3. Via Orléans to the A71 and at Vierzon take exit A20.
4. Follow the A20 via Chateauroux, Limoges, Toulouse to Brive-La-Gaillarde.
5. Before Brive-La-Gaillarde, take exit 50 “Ouest de Brive” route D901 in the direction of Objat.
6. After 7 to 8 km, in the direction of Varetz and in the village of Burg turn left in the direction of Ayen/Yssandon to the D5.
7. After 9 km, turn left in the direction of Yssandon (after approx. 1,5 km of Burg do not take the first exit to Yssandon, but the second).
8. Follow the D3 in the direction of Brignac la Plaine with the signs “Bois Noir”.
9. After passing the sign “Bois Noir” you will see the château after approximately one hundred meters.
