Discover the beautiful surroundings of L'Yssandonnais during a five day culinary- and hiking package.
There are 18 short scenic routes in the direct area of the Château du Bois Noir. The routes all take up approx. 8 to 12 km which will take you through the beautiful hilly and afforested surroundings in the west of the Corrèze in an area, situated at the border of the Dordogne. For each route we have a separate walking walking map with complementary information in Dutch and descriptions of sights worth seeing as well as a detailed description of the nature and its surroundings. Each route can be found by route signing at the location. Because of the uneven, hilly surroundings, the differences in height can get up to 200 meter, the panoramas are beautiful. But, it can be that a route of only 12 km will take up to 3,5 hours to finish. For the more experienced hiker there is the possibility of walking 2 routes in one day. In the evening we serve you a delicious four course dinner at the Château.

Day 1:
During the afternoon you arrive by own transport at Château du Bois Noir and you will stay in one of the rooms of the Château. At arrival you receive a lovely bottle of red wine for every 2 persons.
On the day of arrival we serve the "four season's menu" at the Château.

Days 2, 3 and 4:
After an elaborate breakfast you will leave by own transport for one of the 18 starting points from where you will depart for the walking tours. We are happy to advise you on which route to choose.
During your walk you will enjoy a small luncheon package from the Château du Bois Noir. In the evening we serve you a four course menu in the Château.

Day 5:
After a good night's sleep and an extensive breakfast you will return home by own transport.

Price of this package: € 375,00 per person,
from the 1st of April 2010 until the 4th of July 2010 and from the 21st of August 2010 until the 2nd of October 2010.
For the period from the 4th of July 2010 until the 21st of August 2010 there is an additional charge of € 60,00 per person.

Arrival:
  • Possible every day of the week in the above mentioned periods.
Participation:
  • The package can only be booked for 2 persons including a stay in one of our rooms.

Included in the price:
  • 4 nights at the Château du Bois Noir in chambre Louise-Elisabeth or chambre Napoleon III including a generous breakfast;
  • Per 2 persons: 1 bottle of red wine at arrival;
  • 3 luncheon packages with fruit, sweet, soda and sandwiches;
  • A "four season's menu" is served on the day of arrival. This is a light French meal with a starter, a meal salad or a pasta dish as main course, a cheese platter and a dessert. (excluding drinks);
  • 3 four course dinners on day two, three and four (excluding drinks);
  • Tourist tax and TVA;

Not included in the price:
    Transport from and to the Château du Bois Noir of the starting points of the various walking routes;
  • Travel Insurance;
  • Extra, other consumptions;
  • Personal expenses.
The package can be extended with a flying-trip with destination Limoges Airport. It is also possible to extend the package with a rental car to be picked up at the airport. Please ask us regarding the possibilities.
